On Thursday, 6 Sept, as further preparation for Inter-Schools, National Master O.G. Urcan (NYPS staff) and FIDE Master Tin Jingyao (NYPS P6 pupil) gave a 37-board tandem simultaneous exhibition to all NYPS elite players. After three hours of play, they won 36 games and drew one. Lester Tey (who scored the draw), Tin Ruiqi and Royce Tan (both lasting the longest) received chess DVDs as prizes.
